The new bus line Gran Turismo Mantova-Sabbioneta is designed for all cycling enthusiasts and complements the connections already provided on weekdays by Line 17 with an additional service on public holidays from March to October.
The service is active on public holidays from Sunday 3 March to Sunday 3 Novem 2024 and on Saturdays with compulsory reservation.
Bicycles may only be loaded/unloaded at terminals of Mantova and Sabbioneta, and there is no intermediate service.
SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS (Easter Monday, 25 April, 1 May, and 15 August)
The bike trailer is always attached to the bus, but bicycle reservation is strongly recommended as availability is limited.
Departures and loading points from Mantua:
Arrivals and unloading point in Sabbioneta at 9:50 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. at the stop of SABBIONETA – Piazza D’Armi.
Departures from Sabbioneta at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and loading point at the stop of SABBIONETA – Piazza D’Armi.
Arrivals and unloading points in Mantua:
Compulsory reservation and activation with a minimum of 6 bicycles.
Departure from Mantua at 8:25 a.m. and loading point at the stop of RISORGIMENTO – Stazione passante (connecting station).
Arrival in Sabbioneta at 9:19 a.m. at the stop of SABBIONETA – Piazza Gonzaga.
Departure from Sabbioneta at 5:43 p.m. from the stop of SABBIONETA – Piazza Gonzaga.
Arrival in Mantua at 6:35 p.m. at the stop of RISORGIMENTO – Stazione passante.

Sundays and public holidays
Reservation is strongly recommended on Sundays and public holidays due to the limited availability of bike places.
Saturdays
On Saturdays, reservation is compulsory, and it must be made by the Thursday before the ride of interest.
Confirmation of the service takes place:
Those making a reservation online will be asked to provide their e-mail address, mobile phone number, and to print the ticket which must be presented (also in digital format) and kept for all the duration of the journey. Online payment can only be made by credit card.
Reservations can only be moved to a later date or refunded within 2 days prior to the booked ride; requests for date changes or refunds must be sent by e-mail at comunicazioni@apam.it.
The cancellation of the service will be communicated by sending an e-mail to the address provided; in the event of cancellation due to failure to reach the minimum numbers, the credit card will be re-credited with the amounts previously charged.

Bicycle transport single ticket: €5.00
Bicycle transport return ticket: €7.00
For those in possess of MANTOVA SABBIONETA CARD*, the single ticket is always included in the card; bicycle transport is excluded.

ACCESSIBILITY
Reservation is required for the transport of passengers with reduced mobility needing buses with platforms.

CYCLING ROUTE MANTOVA – SABBIONETA
The cycling route is a mixed bike path (for bikes and cars) of 47 km that connects the two UNESCO cities. The path winds along low-traffic roads, through the wetlands of Oglio Sud Park, making it possible to discover otherwise unexplored environments and better appreciate the cultural landscape characteristics of the area.
